A new EU regulation becomes effective, which will oblige wine producers, bottlers, retailers and exporters to provide information on ingredients, energy content and nutritional values on the wine label in the future. This information can be shown either by means of a nutritional value table on the label or by means of an innovative e-label. These are labels that are provided with a QR code. When customers scan these wine labels, they are taken to a website created specifically for this purpose with the relevant information about the product. These new regulations will be relevant for everyone who sells wine within the European market space.
