Yes. One of the key advantages of digital printing is that multiple label versions with the same shape, dimensions, finish and material can be printed together in a single print run, helping to keep costs down.
To specify how many versions you require, simply enter the number of designs in the Online Calculator.

If your labels differ in size, shape or material, they will need to be quoted separately. Simply generate multiple quotes by entering the specifications for each label type into the Online Calculator. We’ve designed the calculator to make the process as quick and straightforward as possible.

Self-adhesive labels on rolls, also known as roll labels, are supplied on a backing material and require no additional adhesive. They can be applied simply by peeling them from the backing and attaching them to the desired surface, either manually or using a labelling machine.

We produce labels on rolls because they offer a practical and versatile solution for both handling and application, particularly in packaging and bottling processes. Roll labels can also be enhanced with a wide range of finishings, making them not only practical but visually appealing too.

Labels on sheets are often referred to as sheet labels. Unlike roll labels, they are supplied on sheets rather than on a roll.
This format is ideal if you apply labels manually to your products or packaging. However, sheet labels are not suitable for automated labelling processes. For machine application, we recommend self-adhesive labels on rolls.

Yes, you can specify the winding direction of your label rolls. Choose from the following options:

The number of labels supplied on each roll is entirely up to you. If you require a specific quantity per roll, this can be specified in the Online Calculator when requesting your quote. Please note that customised roll configurations may incur an additional charge, which will be included in your quote.

If you apply your labels using a labelling machine and require a specific outer diameter, this can also be specified in the Online Calculator.

Yes. Thermal transfer printing is possible on our white paper (gloss or matt) and white PP film materials. Labels finished with a protective varnish are also suitable for thermal transfer printing.

There are two main methods of applying roll labels: manual application and machine application.
With manual application, labels are applied by hand. With machine application, labels are applied automatically using a labelling machine. Depending on the application method, there are a few important factors to consider when placing your order.
To ensure smooth application, it is essential to specify the correct winding direction for your label rolls. If you use a labelling machine, you should also provide the required core diameter and, where applicable, the maximum outer roll diameter.
Following these requirements helps to ensure efficient production and trouble-free application.

Our recommendation: apply labels to clean, dry and, where necessary, sterilised surfaces. When applying labels by hand, we recommend wearing gloves to avoid transferring grease or fingerprints to the label surface. After application, products should not be exposed to significant temperature changes for at least 48 hours. Please also note that air bubbles may occur when labels are applied to uneven or dirty surfaces.

Hot foil stamping adds a premium, eye-catching finish to your labels. Its metallic sheen and vibrant colours can be used to highlight text, logos, decorative elements or larger design areas, helping your products stand out.
As hot foil stamping is applied using a bespoke die, it can be incorporated into almost any label design with a high degree of precision. During the finishing process, the foil is transferred onto the label using heat and pressure.
Thanks to our extensive experience in premium label production, we carry out hot foil stamping in-house, ensuring exceptional quality while keeping costs competitive.

Our gold and silver foils are the most popular choices, but we also offer a wide range of other hot foil colours.
Looking for a specific foil? No problem. We work with foils supplied by Kurz and, if a particular colour is not currently in stock, we can usually source it quickly for your project. Simply contact us, and we’ll be happy to discuss the available options.

Yes. If you would like to see exactly how your label will look before placing your full order, you can order a printed proof. Unlike a digital proof, a printed proof is produced using the same printing equipment and materials used for regular production, allowing you to assess the colours, material and overall appearance of your label before proceeding with the final order.

Printed proofs are available for an additional charge and can be ordered directly online on this page. If you would like further information, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.

We use standardised production processes, advanced colour measurement systems and rigorous quality controls to ensure consistent print quality across every production run. Our colour management system complies with recognised industry standards and enables accurate colour matching with previous orders wherever possible.
While minor colour variations can occasionally occur between production runs, we work continuously to minimise them through ongoing staff training, strict process control and the use of the latest printing technology.

Our standard production time is 5–8 business days from the moment we receive your print-ready artwork. Once your files have been uploaded, we will be able to provide a more precise dispatch date.
Production times may vary depending on the label material, selected finishings and current production volumes. An estimated delivery date is always displayed in both the online calculator and your personalised quote.
We aim to be as flexible as possible and will always do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Express Production (48 hours) is available for an additional charge of £50 plus 25% of the order value. Super-Express Production (24 hours) is available for an additional charge of £100 plus 50% of the order value.
The exact surcharge is displayed automatically in the online calculator when you select the relevant production option.
Please note that Express and Super-Express Production are only available if all required production tools are already available in-house.

Express Production jobs are completed within 48 hours, while Super Express Production is available within 24 hours. These services are only available if all the tools required for production, such as cutting dies and finishing tools, are already available in-house.
Please note that Express Production and Super Express Production may not be available for high-volume orders. If you require a large quantity of labels, we recommend contacting our customer service team to discuss the available options.
Our system calculates delivery dates in real time, taking into account your job specifications, current production volumes and chosen shipping method. UPS Standard Delivery typically takes 6–8 business days, while UPS Express Delivery usually takes 1–2 working days.

You can pay for your orders using PayPal or a credit card (Visa, American Express or Mastercard).

Subject to approval and a minimum order volume, payment by bank transfer in advance may also be available. Please contact our customer service team for further information.

Standard delivery is free for all orders shipped across the UK and the EU.
For deliveries to countries outside the UK and the EU, shipping charges apply and are calculated based on the destination and the size of the order.

UPS Express Delivery is available at an additional charge, which is calculated according to the weight of the shipment.

Your labels are carefully packed and shipped via UPS.
Standard delivery is free for all orders shipped within the UK and the EU. If you require faster delivery, UPS Express Delivery is available at an additional charge. Express shipping costs are calculated according to the weight of the shipment.

In the top right-hand corner of our homepage, you’ll find a link to the login area. From there, you can also access the registration page, where you can enter a few details to register with label.co.uk.

Once registered, your account will be ready to use in just a few clicks. You can, of course, choose your own secure password.

Yes. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and will never share your information with third parties without your consent. In addition, your customer account is protected by a secure password to help keep your information safe.

Yes. Once logged in, you can add and manage alternative delivery addresses in your account. You can then select the appropriate delivery address during the ordering process.

Yes, all our customers have to pay 20% VAT on their orders. However, on their VAT return, registered businesses can claim the Value Added Tax as input tax. A VAT return, hence, makes it possible to attain a refund on the VAT you paid for imported goods.

Orders can be cancelled by telephone or email. Please note that cancellation is only possible if the order has not yet entered production.

If, despite our high quality standards, you believe there is an issue with your labels, please contact us and we will investigate the matter promptly.

Please email info@label.co.uk, stating the relevant order, delivery note or invoice number, and provide a description of the issue. Where possible, please include photographs or videos showing the reason for your complaint.

We treat all quality concerns as a priority and will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If the cause cannot be determined from the information provided, we may need to inspect the goods at our premises in order to carry out a detailed investigation and, where appropriate, take corrective action.

Please note that we are unable to issue a refund or replacement before the case has been reviewed by our quality control team. If required, you may return the affected labels to us free of charge for inspection and disposal.

Yes. Though our online calculator is the quickest and most convenient way to place an order, you can contact us if you have specific requirements that cannot be configured within the calculator. We will be happy to discuss your project with you.

No. There is no minimum order quantity and both businesses and private customers are welcome to order from us.
However, as with most professional label production, smaller print runs may have a higher unit cost due to the fixed production costs involved. Our online calculator will always display the exact price based on your chosen specifications and quantity.

Yes. If you prefer not to upload your artwork through our website, you can simply send it by email to info@label.co.uk. Please include any relevant order details so that we can process your artwork correctly.
