Who are you?
Tell us a little about yourself
I’m André Alten, 47 years old. I would describe myself as a cheerful, open-minded person with a positive attitude. Being in a good mood is simply part of my everyday life.
What has your professional
career been like so far?
I trained as an electrician, then worked as a customer service technician for seven years, and spent 14 years as a caretaker at the Landal holiday park. I also worked as a customer service technician for entertainment devices for five years. Since 2025, I have been the in-house technician/facility manager at label.co.uk.
How Did Your Path Lead You to label.co.uk?
Friends who already work at label.co.uk asked me if I would like to join the team.
What is your role at label.co.uk and what does your typical day look like?
I make sure that all the machines are running and everything is working smoothly – I’m the “jack of all trades” in the building services department, so to speak.
What Is Special about Your Job?
What is special for me is that I can develop freely. My job is very varied, I can find creative solutions and help other people in the process

What Has Been Your label.co.uk-Highlight so far?
One highlight for me was the relaunch of our DigiSheet – and, of course, the parties, such as the summer party and Christmas party.
