My name is Murad Aboul-Rakti and I have been working at label.co.uk as a machine operator since September 15 2022.
What's Your Role at label.co.uk and What Does Your Typical Day Look Like?
I chose to be a machine operator because the job is versatile, I can work on projects autonomously, and every order comes with its individual challenges depending on the material and specifications.
I independently and autonomously work on our customers’ orders on a Smag Galaxie. Among other things, I have to make sure the die cuts are correctly installed and hot foil embossing tools are adjusted to the corresponding printing image. Applying varnish and foil lamination to the labels is also part of my area of responsibility as well as the regular maintenance and cleaning of the machines.

The special thing about my job is that it offers a lot of versatility and that I can showcase all my strengths and abilities working on the machines.
